It’s really not complicated at all in its mechanics. It’s just a brilliant use of the physiology of blood flow. It’s like this. When the fun begins, your arteries are the happy party guests, bringing blood in. Your veins are the ones taking that blood out. This tiny ring acts as a gentle “goalkeeper,” applying just enough pressure on the base to slow the return of blood slightly. The outcome? More blood is properly “kept in”, delivering you with a harder, longer lasting ideal condition!

This principle is in fact not a new invention. Before the humble sex toy became a fixture in the bedroom, doctors were utilizing the same to treat guys with mild erectile dysfunction. So even if you have no problems, wearing one you can a “upgraded” toughness level. Plus, it has two really cool “side effects”: First, the compression typically makes the final release a lot more intense and forceful, benefit that so many people delight about! Secondly, it can slightly lessen sensitivity, which is a fantastic aid for those who like to extend the pleasurable moments and take things nice and easy.

Listen to Your Body’s “Tune”

But like pasta dough, if you’re going to use any pressure-dependent toy, there are a few guidelines you have to observe. The biggest problem is having so much fun you lose track of time. If you have poor blood circulation things can go purple, lose feeling or even get damaged if you wear them for too long. Important reminder: this is NOT a “tighter and longer is better” type of toy. And don’t often wear it for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. Always pay special attention to the signs your body is expressing; have fun, but take good care of your body, too.

What is the best material for a beginner?

If you’re trying one out for the first time, no biggie! I really highly recommend medical quality silicone, especially the adjustable ones. So you won’t hate using it and you will be able to find the size that fits you best easily.

There are three incredibly comfy reasons to go with silicone:

Soft, skin-Travel Friendly Sex Toy texture: Unlike metal rings that can cause ongoing anxiety over “getting stuck and unable to take it off,” silicone offers a snug yet comforting hug.

Very , very safe for emergencies . If it seems too tight , or you panic and want to get it off immediately then just clip it with scissors or stretch it straight off , avoiding the unpleasant and deadly scenario of a stuck metal ring .

Easy size exploration: Many silicone rings are sold in sets ranging in thickness from thick to thin. You can begin with the loosest size and gradually work your way up to that exact sweet spot that blends safety and optimum comfort.
