A building roof caved in during January 2026, damaging six classrooms and forcing temporary student dismissal. The incident drew attention from the West Java Regional House of Representatives, which called for immediate repairs and stricter oversight of school construction standards. The school has since been scheduled for reconstruction, with authorities emphasizing the importance of technical compliance and safety for students and staff.
